Research Assistant Position Graduate research assistantships for potential Ph.D. students, starting from Spring 2010, are available at the Statistical Signal Processing laboratory (SSPL) in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University. The research is focused on statistical signal processing, communications, information theory and data fusion. Ideal candidates should be highly self-motivated graduate students with solid background in the areas of probability and statistics, applied mathematics and communications theory. Experience in the MATLAB or C/C++ programming is strongly desired. Good oral and written communication skills are a plus. Promising applicants are strongly encouraged to express their interests by sending a CV, transcripts (graduate and undergraduate) and research statement to Dr. Qi Cheng.
